![]() In co-op, each of you can choose to do whatever you want across the town, together or apart. Stardew Valley isn’t a game you’ll tire of quickly, but when you find yourself endeared by it, you’ll often wish you were sharing your farm with someone else. I love playing Stardew Valley co-operatively, a lot more than playing solo, anyhow. Tend to your crops and animals together in Stardew Valley. This workload can be lessened, however, by bringing a friend on board for co-op. There’s a lot of grinding involved in Stardew Valley, which often sees players sinking hundreds of hours into perfecting their farms. It’s so much more than a pixelated RPG that lets you harvest crops and name your animals, though, and will have you restoring life to the entire town one step at a time. Stardew Valley is the farming simulator with a charming tale to tell, coming from one-man powerhouse, Eric Barone (AKA ConcernedApe). ![]() Platforms: PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Android. This list consists of titles that encourage co-operation only! I’m going to be excluding games that are massively multiplayer, and those that include PvE and PvP multiplayer elements. That being said, the criteria for this list is simple: it must be a game that is co-op focused or has a solid co-op campaign. ![]() Massively multiplayer games can certainly have the same effect, however, there’s something about being able to curl up on the sofa with a buddy and blast through a couch co-op run of Borderlands that makes co-op games privy to hosting much more heart-warming memories than, I hate to say it, my hundreds of hours with Valorant and Dead by Daylight. However, gaming is also one of the best activities for connecting with those close to you, and in some cases, it can make or break a friendship (a few of my own friendships have been very much tried and tested by It Takes Two).Ĭo-op games are an absolute treasure because of this. You boot up Elden Ring, and before you know it, you’ve not spoken to a single person other than Ranni for 10 hours. Gaming can be a very solitary activity at times. I would be understandably pissed if I were my opponent, not knowing why the guy just quit.To see this content please enable targeting cookies. But I used to play a lot of competitive RTS online, and when you lose connectivity, the entire match just ends, and it really SUCKS for both side since we've invested a lot of time for nothing. Maybe this game ppl aren't kicked if their coop partner leaves. If I were the other player, I don't want to play a game for 30 mins, and then randomly that other guy just "leaves" and I'm forced to quit as well. If you never play co-op, then why do you care about a bad reputation for connectivity loss? Is it so future Simsimsim generations don't have to live with the stigma? LMAO well I don't know about you, but I think it's awful for whoever I was playing with if I were just to leave like that. ![]() I would lose the progress and get a bad reputation, that's why I almost never play online. I would definitely try COOP if I get the game, but the thing I avoid any online content is because I have AWFUL internet that could stop working any second, and pretty much everytime I play an online game I ended up losign connectivity, and people think that I just quit. Originally posted by Simsimsim:Thanks everyone! Is there a lot of replayability? Is there any reason to make you go back to SP after beating the story? I am a minority single player gamer only (these days) though so please feel free to ignore me and listen to all the guys saying you simply must play coop/mp that will ultimatly put you off buying it or playing it. It takes more thought to win because you can't simply charge in with a bunch of mates hacking and slashing however, you can cam up with zombie guts and stroll into nests and destroy them, the bow and crossbow with their assorted arrows and bolts are a MAJOR game changer for those wanting to play as only single player. ![]() I am running through the Following and having a ball, i don't have super weapons that do 100000's of damage per hit, my strongest weapon is only 1043 and i manage to put down everything i have encountered including but not limited to ALL the Boss giants (Thor was too easy as was behemoth but thats an aside) and everything else thats stood in my way. In fact I have literally never been online, played co-op or anything of the sort, anyone thats says its too tough on your own simply gave up too soon. I would say yes but, like you i play survival games and enjoy exploration and looting.and i prefer to do this on my own. ![]()
